Le Kotémer is the main restaurant at Iloha Seaview Hotel. Its name comes from a Réunion Creole expression meaning «so-so» — a poetic way of saying every meal brings its own surprise and discovery.
The menu celebrates the flavours of Réunion: fragrant curries spiced with saffron-péi, spiced rougails, grains and achards, local greens and seasonal fruits. Everything is prepared with fresh produce sourced from local West Coast farmers, in line with the hotel’s European Ecolabel commitment.
The dining room opens onto the tropical garden — an almost open-air feeling, sheltered from the elements, with the evening breeze and the scents of the garden drifting in.

🐙 Cari de Zourite (Octopus Curry)
Octopus slow-cooked the Réunion way, simmered with local spices and fresh turmeric. A true island institution.
🌶️ Rougail Saucisse
Réunion’s iconic dish. Smoked sausages, tomatoes, chilli and spices — served with rice and red beans.
🍗 Chicken Curry
Free-range chicken cooked with saffron-péi, ginger and garlic. The backbone of Réunion Creole cooking.
🥗 Achards de Légumes
Spiced pickled vegetables served as a side. Fresh, tangy and utterly essential.
🫘 Red Beans (Grains Rouges)
Traditional Creole-style red beans, a staple accompaniment to all curry dishes.
🍮 Creole Desserts
Sweet potato cake, bonbon piment, seasonal local fruits. A sweet and fragrant ending to the meal.
